Hawker Hurricane Metal Wall Art (3 Sizes)
Designed by Sir Sydney Camm during the 1930’s and brought into service on Christmas Day 1937. The Hawker Hurricane (often overshadowed by the Spitfire), actually inflicted over 60% of the Luftwaffe’s losses during engagement during World War Two. By the start of the War 18 squadrons were in service. The Royal Navy also developed modified Hurricanes called ‘Sea Hurricanes’ to be launched from the Navy Ships. Part of our ‘Legends of the Skies’ collection, this metal wall art is a must for all World War II, aircraft and transport enthusiasts.
Your Hawker Hurricane Metal Wall Art will come with pre drilled holes in each corner for easy fixing. We recommend that your Metal Wall Art is suitable for Indoor hanging (preferably out of direct sunlight) or in a shaded area outside. These signs are NOT UV treated, but you can apply a suitable UV resistant spray post purchase to prolong it’s vibrant colours for a longer period of time ( available from most DIY stores and online ). Signs placed in direct sunlight will naturally fade over time. However, placing your sign in the right place will ensure years of happy viewing.
